Admission 2010

Clarification on TOEFL Requirement
If you identify yourself as a native speaker of English at Item 18 in Form #2, you need not submit a TOEFL score. We will review all your application from that premise.
If you do not identify yourself as such, you must fulfill the TOEFL requirement.

Please read Alert on TOEFL and GRE exams.

The number of merit-based scholarships has been increased for students from ASEAN countries.

Application Forms are available in the Download page.

If you cannot pay the examination fee at a bank in Japan, please pay it online using the following document, instead of using Form #4. Please start the procedure from here.

Alert on TOEFL and GRE exams

Arrange to take the GRE and TOEFL exams as soon as possible

To Prospective Students,

In order for ETS to send your test scores in time to meet the October 2010 admission deadline (the beginning of January 2010 for merit-based scholarships), you will need to arrange to take the GRE General Test and TOEFL exams as soon as possible.

The opportunity for taking these tests is limited in some regions, so please be sure to double-check which exam you must take in order to meet our program’s application deadline. In particular, applicants in China (including Hong Kong), Korea, and Taiwan must take a split-test of the GRE General Test whereby a computer-based Analytical Writing section must be taken by September 19, 2009 in order to take the paper-based Verbal and Quantitative sections offered on October 24, 2009 -- the last available test before our deadline. Please see this page in ETS's website for further information.

As a reminder, GRE and TOEFL score must be sent by ETS to us directly; student copies are not acceptable.
